Stefania Barbosa is a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson with Laffey Real Estate, proudly serving Long Island, a community she has called home for the past five years. With a deep appreciation for the island's charm, Stefania brings both local insight and heartfelt enthusiasm to every client relationship. 

Originally from the Cabo Verde Islands and Portugal, Stefania's journey is as global as it is inspiring. She earned her Bachelor's degree in International Relations from the University of Lisbon's Superior Institute of Social and Political Sciences. Her path led her to Massachusetts, where she continued her self-studies in languages and computer science, further bolstering her passion for International Business and Real Estate. Stefania then went on to live in New York City, where she worked at the Embassy of Cabo Verde to the United Nations in Manhattan-- an experience that sharpened her diplomacy, professionalism, and public relations skills. 

Fluent in English, Portuguese, Spanish, and Portuguese-Creole, with intermediate French, Stefania seamlessly connects with clients from diverse backgrounds, ensuring everyone feels understood, informed, and confident throughout the real estate process. 

After meeting her husband in the city, Stefania chose Bayville as the place to build her life-- and love-- together. Now happily married, she is deeply invested in the community she calls home and is thrilled to launch her Real Estate career here, combining her global perspective with a strong local presence. 

Outside of Real Estate, Stefania's energy is contagious. She enjoys dancing, surfing, playing soccer, running, exploring personal wellness, art, design, photography and videography, cooking, traveling, immersing herself amongst nature and animals, and is always on an endless quest for new experiences-- a curiosity and vibrancy she brings into her professional life as well.
